“FABRIC stands out because of its end-to-end programmability. This allows users to program all the elements of the network, from network interface cards (NICs) to P4 switches, offering a unique platform for research and innovation in network design.”
FABRIC Does Intelligent Networking
Is FABRIC Right for Me?
FABRIC is an infrastructure designed to explore impactful new ideas that are impossible or impractical with the current Internet.
FABRIC's goal is to enable rapid prototyping and validation of new network and distributed computing methods and applications that leverage novel technologies that are not accessible, programmable, or at sufficient levels elsewhere.
How do I Sign Up?
The first step is to sign up for a FABRIC portal account. This allows you to join and manage projects, SSH keys, and API tokens, as well as create or visualize slice topologies.
Available Support
The Knowledge Base serves as the official documentation hub for FABRIC, and includes technical guides, release notes, tutorials, and more.
The FABRIC community forum gives users a space to review portal updates and seek support from the user community.
This orientation session reviews FABRIC's features and includes a live demo on creating an account and starting your first experiment.
Set up time with members of the FABRIC Team during their Office Hours.
KNIT is a semi-annual gathering of the FABRIC user community to discuss use cases and best practices on the platform.
